May 6th, 1965 tornadoes

Didn't know where to post this, but I chose this subforum because it seems to be the most active with regards to tornadoes.

As far as WCCO radio goes, you should listen to the archives as they have been reproduced here, it's uncanny how well they did.  It almost sounds like what a 2014 outbreak would sound like.  It's amazing what they could do back then.  To this day when it comes to severe weather, many of us go to WCCO, this why I call it the grandfather of media severe weather coverage.

 

I haven't listened to all the tapes, but the first one is riveting.
