Minnesota Meso
Didn't know where to post this, but I chose this subforum because it seems to be the most active with regards to tornadoes. Here is the link to the May 6th 1965 summary as provided by MPX. At the end of the post you can look at radar images from that day. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/mpx/HistoricalEvents/1965May06/index.php As far as WCCO radio goes, you should listen to the archives as they have been reproduced here, it's uncanny how well they did. It almost sounds like what a 2014 outbreak would sound like. It's amazing what they could do back then. To this day when it comes to severe weather, many of us go to WCCO, this why I call it the grandfather of media severe weather coverage. I haven't listened to all the tapes, but the first one is riveting. http://radiotapes.com/specialpostings.html#Tornadoes
