Kmlwx
Seems like decent consensus at this pt the shortwave embedded in the ULL makes its best pass around 18z tue. Perhaps we can screw up both days if we are lucky. Would we ideally like it closer to 00z?
Ian
Would we ideally like it closer to 00z?Yeah probably. May still work out as is to some degree. Still a shift we can get too but seems things are aligning at this pt.

Yeah - I'd think at this point maybe it could nudge in either direction a couple of hours...but this could be very close to the solution. If we nudge it to 21z I'd call it a day and be happy. wxmeddler
Some pop up storms firing over the higher terrain ahead of the diffuse line, 30k top'ers. Should stay fairly unstable through the evening with dews remaining at 21-23°C and the ML staying that way till late in the night.

Perhaps we can screw up both days if we are lucky. lol i feel like we had more numerous storms when i grew up here in the 80s/90s. either way, most of our storms are probably laughtastic to people growing up in the midwest/plains. olafminesaw
Unless it starts turning southeast or starts to form south it looks to just miss DC. We shall see. The southern part of the line is due west of DC and it seems to be making a tiny bit of southward progress so I think DC will get hit, unless the line falls apart. ...And after I post it the southern part of the line gets cut off.
