AlaskaETC
First tor warning.... 12-1p 1-2p? SPC doesn't mention a tornado risk?
Eskimo Joe
As per LWX, no immediate cause for Baltimore / Harford County storm survey. If more reports come in then it's possible.
Eskimo Joe
Driving in from PA I noticed where the fog was burning off there is limited mid / high clouds. Hopefully we can salvage today.

Ian
SPC doesn't mention a tornado risk? It would appear that way. We need backed winds... if no sfc low forms it's probably mainly a wind threat. 0% seems low tho. Eh.
CAPE
Jebs whining is sorta played out, no? Breaking...The dreaded summer polar vortex to deliver garden variety convective storms and unseasonably cold air to the DC area. High temps of only 84 for a few days. Please take precautions. Wish Pit's didn't get cut off and we had a better look upstream. Not surprising given that nice dry pocket around 500mb. WAL sounding is juicy. Wish there was a bit more CAP in place though.... IsentropicLift
Not a wedge but a beautiful structure nevertheless, espeically for northeast standards. This was apparently taken yesterday in Burlington, NJ.

I've seen a few more pictures on this forum of the same apparent tornado. Also heard reports of roofs ripped off. The cell did prompt a tornado warning last night. Ian
Yeah could be. It seems unusually visible for a non classic supercell tho. Nothing floating on twitter that I can find.

Not sure if you're familiar with the terrain of NJ but that part of the state is fairly flat with mostly farms. And that cell was fairly discrete when the warning was issued before it got swallowd up by the main part of the line.

AlaskaETC
I actually like Jebman's posts. For some reason, his writing strikes me as hauntingly accurate for the misfortunes this region seems to receive.

It's only 20 minutes from my house, lol. That's part of the reason I was skeptical in the PHL thread.
