That storm that traversed Flemington->Manville->New Brunswick was actually producing prolific amounts of CG lightning (most thunder I've heard this year) but that pretty much halted once it got here. My guess is that the storm encountered somewhat weaker instability around my area thanks to earlier storms/outflow. But there was still extremely heavy rainfall (8.00" maximum rain rate). Even total thus far including last night's rain is 2.41". Trying to find the post from the guy who called a bust at 4:37 PM. Guess he deleted it...
