SnowGoose69
Convection seems to be back building in SW NJ now, that area between Trenton and Baltimore might fill in more soon. The instability was pretty darn strong earlier, had 4000 cape in SNJ, surprised though at this point we are getting so much development behind areas that have already seen stuff

JSantanaNYC
why would anyone want rain in the summer? Dont any of you have lives? play sports? This summer has been a disaster. Golf courses are soaked...softball fields are mush....worst July in a long long time...this blows. If you think this summer has been a disaster..you need to look somewhere else to move.. every weekend has been beautiful.. and we had plenty..and I mean plenty of days with nice temperature and sunny outside. Maybe you should consider moving to Africa.. lol

Could give us a shot at some NW flow aloft convective events, later next week.

danstorm
Anyone have rainfall tallies for the 3 days? I quickly calculated the following for the 3 first order NYC stations: NYC: 1.79" LGA: 1.91" JFK: 2.96" Probably on the low end of the range for the region... JFK might be right in the middle. Decent event, midday storm yesterday was the highlight for me.
