Ian
HRRR has been focusing SE which was sort of what the look was prior to today but it also brings some stuff thru the metro areas this evening.

snowfan
Seems like a day where there's a glimmer of hope, but then all of the action stays south of EZF and the northern neck of VA.
yoda
Wouldnt be surprised if SPC adds SLGT risk at 1630 for wind for us... then again I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't

Might as well.

yoda
#shearhuggers Not sure why SLGT risk wasn't down into DC and the N VA area... effective and bulk shear are both over 40kts with 1500 to 2000 SBCAPE

Shear does trail south but it's fine for now and probably thru the day. Hi res focus south of the slight risk too. SPC does love to run with the highest shear though.. and for some reason they thought 35-40kts+ bulk shear was weak as of this morning.
NinjaWarrior2
SPC most likely put the Slight risk for those areas due to storms popping up already, I would have included most of SNE and Virginia in the Slight Risk. We could get something decent in here.
