Mrs.J
Absolute down pour out. My husband is now stuck in this on 270. I am worried. Winds have for the time weakened. Lightning and thunder.

Amped
Update was not that impressed with the Frederick part of the line. There was wind but I still have power and I don't imagine there were mass power outages here given the minimal tree damage.

Kmlwx
47kts at IAD (54mph) Seems like the NWS 70-80mph warnings are a bit high. Probably will top most areas in 50-60mph range at most. Maybe a few locally higher gusts.

Mrs.J
0.53" furniture on the deck was moved around quite a bit. The love seat is usually on the N side of the deck and was moved S. And the table got pushed up against the S side of the deck. Glad I laid the chairs down. Power is ok after that initial outage. No trees in the tree line went down, but I am surprised. The kids and I went down to the lower level when everything hit just to be safe. Husband is home was thankfully off of 270 before it hit. He did drive in it though and said the wind was bad. BlizzardNole
Very unimpressive in Germantown -- maybe 30 mph gust at most before the rain started, then just basically a brief, heavy shower. Not even any lightning or thunder. We need any rain we can get though so I'm glad for that.
