MN Transplant
Probably started mowing a week or two late this year. Grass growth has really tailed off in the last two weeks. In between it was about every 6 days, though.

Scuddz
Speaking of grass, I made a nice polka dot burn pattern with fertilizer this weekend. Sweet.

The roots of spring germinated grass have a hard time as soon as the hot weather hits.

The roots of spring germinated grass have a hard time as soon as the hot weather hits. I seed in the fall. Problem is the front yard is direct sun for most of the day. Back yard grows grass great. Heck I even once sodded a spot in the front yard from the back when we put in a garden. That actually took.
