Some posters will be happy with this story:

I guess we're in for a 10° rise in temps over the next 85 summers!  It says nothing about humidity though so it may or may not be high dews.

Meanwhile, it looks like another great low dp weekend on tap!

This weekend looks drier further north and east. We've been lucky this season to avoid true swamp for days like last year. I think BOS has had one day with dew points above 70? Sure mid to upper 60s is humid, but it's tolerable. So far a very manageable summer. Absolutely nothing like last year.

Even down here, nothing like last year.  I'd call it a typical summer so far.

so what's the scoop on the trough next week?  Surprised to see talk of high dews Mon-Wed.  Does it not get here and we stay in southerly humid flow?

Theres like 5 a week in that area now. Just too much to keep up with. They all seem to be deadly ones too. Will never understand it. It's not a dangerous stretch

What is the section that is so bad?  I've never seen anything that makes me think it's unsafe besides drivers thinking it's a NASCAR track.

It's getting to the point where I'll take 190 west to I-91 south..lol.

lol...you'd miss the best part through Union, Ashford and Willington.  I suppose you could then get off on SR 74 and connect with 30 and circumvent that whole Tolland section.  Then again, that would take you right through the center of Tolland.

Lol....and miss the beauty of NE CT for that picturesque downtown of springfield? Lol.

Well I mean rt 190 in CT off of I-84...not the mass pike...I-90. I like that road.

SOME OF THE GREATEST NEGATIVE ANOMALIES ARE

LIKELY TO BE JUST NORTH OF THE POLAR FRONT ONCE IT SETTLES INTO

THE DEEP SOUTH--IN THE CLOUDY, RAINY ZONE WHERE THE PRECIPITATION

WILL SEND THE DRY-BULB READINGS TOWARD THE WET-BULB VALUES. SUCH A

SYNOPTIC SET-UP IS THE VERY RECIPE FOR RECORD LOW MAXIMUM

TEMPERATURES DURING WHAT IT CLIMATOLOGICALLY THE HOTTEST TIME OF

THE YEAR
