T. August
Hoping I can finally get a reading in the 50s tonight. My inland temp sensor is currently at 71, while the waterfront station is at 73. They're only about 300 feet apart. 2:22 PM Edit: 70 inland, 73 waterfront.
Mrs.J
The girls had a riding lesson this morning at 8am. 60 and a light breeze was fantastic! Had to break out a pair of jeans.
das
67.5F at 3:30pm in the afternoon on partly cloudy skies on 29 July in Central Maryland. Incredible. Feels just like the Canadian Maritimes when I was there last week.
EastCoast NPZ
72 / 46. Mostly cloudy skies and breezy. Jeebus, this is unreal.

T. August
If the clouds get out of here there are going to be some 40s nearby tonight. I sure hope they get out. It doesn't look like they're moving at all though. The clouds killed my shot at the 50s last night...
Ian
Seems we have some haze from fires in Canada around today. Def not the typical deep blue sky of this type of air mass.

dailylurker
I can't remember the last time we had a day like this in July. I wonder if the smoke is helping keep temps down a bit.
Ian
Quick look says this is the first July day in the 70s at DCA without measurable rain since 2009 though that day had a trace

EastCoast NPZ
72F for the high and dews in the 40s. 2009 had some nice days in July, but I don't think I'm being dramatic here when I say this is the nicest July day ever. As Ian pointed out, the clouds were an odd-type for such an air mass. Hazy, flat, layered clouds and no deep blue skies and puffy fair-weather cumulus. I thought they were just a lot of cirrus; I didn't know about fires in Canada. This might screw our lows tonight.
