A " chilly " 74 already! Must have been from all the rain today!! :). I will be taking a much deserved all day fishing trip tomorrow , of course it'll be one of the hottest days of the week/summer!?

94 to 77 here after being sideswiped by a nice storm  :)   almost 1/4" of much needed rain is in the bucket  ^_^

Doesn't there have to be convection first???

From RAH discussion...

SCATTERED CONVECTION THIS EVENING WILL DIMINISH...ESPECIALLY IN THE EAST...WITH THE LOSS OF INSOLATION.

currently 95/103 with a hot sunny breeze.

LOL! I started to say the exact same thing in my post in the summer thread. Gotta love the 30% chance of storms with 0% coverage. :)

the effects of the subsidence from Arthur shows up nicely on the visible satellite loop. Almost looks like gravity waves...

Looking at radar just now, it appears that the pre-frontal band of precip ahead of the cold front is being forced back to the West as Arthur approaches. Looks like we (KJNX area) may actually get rain from the 'cane before we get anything from the front. One band appears to be pushing up this way.
