LizardMafia
87 at IND and 85 at LAF. IND might squeak out a 90 (wouldn't bet on that), LAF won't. Going to be close for sure..

Boogieman
FNT grid had a high today of 91° yesterday, down to 90° this AM and then down to 88° this afternoon... It hit 89° not long after the high was changed to 88°.
cyclone77
Warmest temp of the season so far today. Hit 92 before this patch of cloudiness rolled in. Dew is 77 now, which is the highest for the day so far. Don't think we'll quite make 80 this time.
Hoosier
86 should do it for the high at LAF.

I got that 92*F number from Chuck Gaidica's segment on WDIV around 6 PM. But 94*F would be even better. That would put us 2 degrees shy of today's record high. wisconsinwx
I think Powerball would be about to gouge his eyes out if he lived in Milwaukee this summer. Came up one short of 90F officially it looks like, but we're far from the only decent sized city in the Midwest that is still 90less.
Chicago WX
86 should do it for the high at LAF. 88º at IND. I guess I jinxed it. Only "legit" stations that hit 90º in the state today were Evansville (EVV) and Shelbyville (GEZ).
hawkeye_wx
Cedar Rapids hit 89 today, which means we will likely go into August with no 90 degree highs. The Quad Cities just barely got up to 90 for the first time, so they were also close to going into August without a 90 degree temp for only the second time on record. Powerball
Looks like Detroit will go the entire month of july without a low of 70+. The warmest low has been 68. I will have to check later, but that has to be very rare, especially in the age of UHI. There's still the matter of tonight (depending partially on cloud cover trends and evolution of the convection). My point forecast calls for a low of 70*F. Powerball
Yeah the 1 group about to go out here in 2 minutes has 34.4c as the max for last 6 hours. So officially, I see the NWS went with the 94*F number as the high...
cyclone77
Dew hit 78 for the highest of the day an hour ago or so. On the way back down now though. Down to 75. Looks like the front will come through with a whimper.

Powerball
Too bad we aren't in the severe weather mecca that is the northeast. They've definitely had a top-shelf season out there. But their overall climo sucks. The other shoe will drop, hopefully soon..
