I have 94 on my end but the sensor has been acting up today and being worked on, I will be interested to see what NWS does with the high.

I got that 92*F number from Chuck Gaidica's segment on WDIV around 6 PM.

But 94*F would be even better. That would put us 2 degrees shy of today's record high.

Yeah the 1 group about to go out here in 2 minutes has 34.4c as the max for last 6 hours.

Looks like Detroit will go the entire month of july without a low of 70+. The warmest low has been 68. I will have to check later, but that has to be very rare, especially in the age of UHI.

There's still the matter of tonight (depending partially on cloud cover trends and evolution of the convection).

My point forecast calls for a low of 70*F.

Tonight's Powerball numbers are......FWA 89°, SBN 89°

Don't forget to buy your Powerball tickets the next time we have better mixing.

EDIT: Severe fail, 90's fail. Today is a microcosm of our summer around here.

I laughed.

As far as severe weather, looks like the rich for this month (meaning the Grand Rapids area) will continue to get richer this evening...

88º at IND. I guess I jinxed it.

Only "legit" stations that hit 90º in the state today were Evansville (EVV) and Shelbyville (GEZ).

Might as well start rooting for no 90s this summer.  Well, I know you are, but I'm talking about me.  Would be kinda cool to see since it's so rare.
