TimChgo9
Filtered sun at the moment, but clouds are thinning. Currently 80 with a Dew Point of 71 here in my backyard, so to speak. BNSF and UP issuing advisories to train crews on departing trains in Clyde Yard and Proviso Yard, that are due to leave in the next hour or two, advising them of the severe weather potential as they travel west. hawkeye_wx
I'm definitely becoming concerned. Given the current radar it appears Cedar Rapids and Iowa City are in the prime corridor to get the brunt of this line.
Quincy
Quincy, do you think that a few could fire along the boundary? It looks ripe if they could just get a few to pop. That's what I'm banking on for later on. If even just one cell goes up, watch out. Mid-70s dews with winds backed around to the SE with low LCLs and increasing kinematic support spells trouble.

wisconsinwx
Some sun is breaking out here as well with temps in the low 80s and dews on the rise. However, I think the main show stays just to the south. Any chance more cells develop on the northern flank of the MCS or it builds north at all?
