jhamps10
Now this is cool and amazing, Lake Granbury about 30 miles SW of Ft Worth, and one of the hardest hit lakes in the region in terms of lower lake levels, got soaked yesterday with nearly 8" of rain in spots.. here's a great time-lapse video from NWS Ft Worth from a webcam at the lake showing just how much it changed over the day yesterday. This is amazing to watch, and we continue to pray for more rain.. just not 8" at once that did cause flooding of some homes and businesses in Hood County:
Quixotic1
Nice. All the lakes could use that right about now. Down to once every other week for lawn sprinklers IMBY.
Randy4Confluence
Even though I'm from the East Coast, I followed that drought situation in TX for a while and was really concerned. Glad to see the Lone Star State catchup on their water levels this year.
