Since late March...

Yeah, One cell last week i would classify as strong, Multiple fail storms when we had some of the best conditions for severe, You really can't be a guy big on severe up here as they are not common, Bring on fall

By the time that late evening line reached my aera it was almost dead - 0.01", and the only Maine cocorahs station getting much was Bethel wuith about 1/4". More in NH and places 1"+ in VT. Today's prospects seem to have almost disappeared as well, so come on dry air!

I saw some pretty impressive video from the BTV area last night... lots of trees down.

It definitely was, although because it was at night I didn't get anything too good on camera except for the power flash. I was mainly going for lightning stills but there was too much junk surrounding the main cells so most bolts were obscured. It was definitely a solid wind event. Interestingly I also experienced a bit of a heat burst with it.

After 11 years of faithful service, my Davis Vantage Pro weather station stopped working yesterday. I completely disassembled the sensor suite, cleaned everything, did some basic electrical contact diagnoses, reassembled and still a no go. Just calibrated the temp sensor 2 weeks ago. I guess it just came to the end of its useful life. It's time for a new VP2 in a few weeks.

Cell is intensifying as it is moving past and just south of me.  Probably will end up with about .10" or rain buts its producing more thunder.  Laconia and Lake Winni should get it.

Must have lost its lightning between here and there because I didn't get even a single distant rumble.  Decent downpour peaking at 4.09"/hr.  Peak wind was 27mph.  Total rain .25"

It looked really sweet when approaching though... I'm a sucker for photogenic rain curtains.

The cell intensified briefly with maybe 10 bolts just to my SE.  Then I didn't hear anymore distant thunder.  I stopped down my lens on my Netcam slightly since it was over exposing the sky.  Now its better getting more cloud structures.  That camera is a pain to focus and get really clear, played with it for an hour to try to sharpen the image.   I guess Channel 9 has been using my view from time to time as people having been asking me, is that your view I saw on TV?.

Nice but boring weather coming up for several days and the days start to noticeably get shorter starting soon.

Tuckerman's Ravine yesterday...(not my photo, from the Friends of Tuckerman's social media)

Lots cleaner looking than the remains of the Augusta snow dump, which is 4-5' tall - that includes about 6" of dirt on the top.  Should all be gone in about 10 days.

Enjoying bright blue and 50s dews, maybe sub-50 temp by morning.  July avg for sub-50 minima is 7, and lowest is 3 in 7/08.

75/57F at 4pm 30-40% Cu coverage, seems perfect to me.

Brian, saw your post on the other thread with Euro having the front coming thru Wed AM.  Is that too slow for a good Tuesday Pm severe line of T storms for N/C NE, or will they be well ahead of the actual front?

I haven't looked enough at it yet Gene...it was just a quick first glace. We're still 4 days away so there will be more timing differences anyways. We sorta play leap frog with the boundary up here Sun-Wed. I think I'd like to see it either speed up (for Tue) or slow down (for Wed) though.

Finally up at the lake. Gorgeous and the water feels more refreshing then last year's bath water.

Back up again in just over a week so maybe Brian and Eek can meet up for some Guiseppe's.

Nice. I'd be up for anywhere.

That moon this evening is unbelievable. It was huge coming up on the horizon. The last 2 days have been beautiful with 70s for highs and low dews. 75.8/52.3 here today...doesn't get much better for mid July.

64.7 now
