EVEN WARMER 925MB/850MB TEMPERATURES WILL ADVECT IN ON
SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT AND THUS LOOKING AT HIGHS IN THE 80S TO
AROUND 90 FOR ALL AREAS TODAY

WILL HELP KEEP THE
TEMPERATURES UP ALL NIGHT WITH LOWS IN THE 60S TO LOWER 70S. THE
LOW IN BURLINGTON WILL PROBABLY BE VERY CLOSE TO WHAT THE NORMAL
HIGH IS FOR SATURDAY WITH A LOW OF 74 PROJECTED. NORMAL HIGH ON
SATURDAY IN BURLINGTON IS RIGHT AROUND 75

Music to my ears.

I've tried to be outside as much as possible today in order to absorb all this precious heat.

Really just a perfect day... high of 85.7 with just enough humidity to feel like summer.

Yeah...I enjoyed the heat while out this evening. It was about 80/70 near sunset with a nice breeze. Summer's last hurrah.

Up here there was definitely some western slope enhancement on the other side of the Spine while we got blocked a bit. MesoNet shows precip amounts of 0.5-0.75" widespread in the western slope communities while here in the east slope communities amounts were 0.15-0.30". Looked like NW flow up to 5000ft then WSW above that caused the local enhancement on the otherside while blocking us on the east side.
