eekuasepinniW
Getting some strangely big raindrops falling out of the most benign looking sky right now. Directly overhead, there is as much blue sky as clouds. Pretty neat/weird.
powderfreak
Two storms today with pea sized hail...reminds me of October when we get those graupel showers under the cold pools. They blow up over the Spine and then roll east.
powderfreak
Man it wet bulbs down in these storms, 56F out at 4pm in early August. I see 54/51 up at 1,600ft too...chilly.
wxeyeNH
Nice cell producing lots of lightning to my SW. Nice shot on the webcam.
eekuasepinniW
The other side of that storm. It's going to slide to my northeast unless the left side fires up more. Then again, I'm not really sure I want any of these storms if they're all going to be hail-happy.
eekuasepinniW
thunder to my west and north east. going to slither through a 3 mile wide gap.

tamarack
With today's little pre-dawn shower (which kept temps from potentially dropping into the mid-40s) I've now recorded measurable precip on 6 of 8 days this month. From 9 PM Tuesday thru 7 PM last evening, we had either 6 or 7 separate TS (lost count Wed aft), with more than half of them triggering svr warnings somewhere nearby. My total precip for the month is 0.24". One of these facts doesn't fit with the others.

dendrite
Was just looking up some H5/H85 maps from CON's record monthly extremes. This was CON's coldest Aug morning on record. That's a nice cold shot even for being near September.
