andyhb
18Z soundings are up too http://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/soundings/14060318_OBS/ That LBF sounding is mighty impressive, still got some work to do on the cap, but everything else is explosive. That 8.7 C/km 700-500 mb lapse rate is particularly notable.

Dsnowx53
Looks like a 700mb temp around 14 or 15 deg C. KLBF.skewt.20140603.18.gif Cold pool should work its way eastward as the day goes on...combined with increased diurnal heating I think that cap should break. Dsnowx53
LBF is in the southern part of the W NEB zone anyway, so slightly further north should also have colder 700mb temperatures.

Thundersnow12
Cu field near LBF looks interesting. The cirrus streak coming out of northeast CO should do the trick for that cu field to go next hour or two plus it's right where the MDIV bullseye is as well. Thundersnow12
I'd be watching the isolated storm moving into extreme southwest IA right now. The soon to be derecho is now trying to develop a WAA and the motion is more easterly right now. Mean wind is still a hair north of east in that area. Indystorm
Norfolk storm is bowing out, maybe forming into the first derecho of the day. You may certainly be on target with this since the high risk for wind is downstream of this storm's trajectory.
Indystorm
Tornado watch being coordinated for North Platte's CWA and vicinity. Memorable svr events often come in several waves. This system could perform likewise, but seemingly unusual to have a derecho on the east end and then tornadic supercells following. I would have thought the other way around. Indystorm
You can see the WAA wind developing nicely on satellite extend se into southern IA and northern MO. Going to be quite the active evening for a change.

Thundersnow12
Already a battle taking place with the bow. The southern half of it, about the Wayne/Cuming county line, south of there it's moving more southeast along the theta-e/instability gradient, but north of that county line you have the mean wind fighting back pushing it more easterly. andyhb
30/20 probabilities on the tornado watch for W NE Capping seems like a big concern, beginning to think the tornado potential with this one might be going south pretty quickly.
