WoodbineWX
I'm sure this has been asked and responded to somewhere, but can someone give me the best HRRR link. I'm still learning any help would be appreciated. Thanks
MN Transplant
I'm sure this has been asked and responded to somewhere, but can someone give me the best HRRR link. I'm still learning any help would be appreciated. Thanks Quick and easy look: http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/HRRRNE_CUR/comploop.html Straight from NOAA: http://rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/HRRR/ The HRRR will be moving into the production suite sometime this summer (if that hasn't changed) so it will probably move over to the normal NCEP page after that. yoda
4km NAM and the HRRR both have a line going through the area around 9pm. NAM is further south and hits the metros, while the HRRR is a miss. 2 different runs?

high risk
Any chance we get something out ahead of the line? Still plenty of sunshine east of the BR. sure, and some stuff is already going near Fredericksburg, but the best chance for more widespread activity is later this evening. NWS PoP values for this afternoon are probably too high.
MN Transplant
we're currently targeting the middle of September. Good, looking forward to more consistent hourly runs! 2 different runs? No, I was trying to say that there was still a line in the area on the HRRR, but the mostly hit Balt and north. That run is pretty old now. MN Transplant
Presuming that's warmest day, as opposed to warmest high? Easy to see the monsoon effect in the SW. It is the day of the warmest high. The monsoon and the west coast offshore effect stand out. The later TX,LA,AR timeline is interesting.
