IsentropicLift
The whole batch is really sagging south. I don't see how the rain will last in your area past 2pm The time table I gave was for the city.
ag3
These types of non-convective rain systems are very easy for models to pick up on and forecast. All short range models have the rain clearing NYC by 4-5pm. No reason to think it wont occur right about that time.
Allsnow
These showers are very light and halfway through according to radar No big deal ...ground is not even wet. Cutting going on

danstorm
The radar today felt like watching so many of the suppression events from this past March. How exciting to track our 0.01" of rain!
jm1220
Granted you would say that if you were standing in a hurricane. During much of Hurricane Sandy here, the ground was barely wet. It really only gave us rounds of showers.

IsentropicLift
During much of Hurricane Sandy here, the ground was barely wet. It really only gave us rounds of showers. That's because all of the rain was south of the center. And you knew what I meant.

Stormlover74
Fantastic stretch coming up with not a heat wave in sight, suck on that hot weather lovers. We'll pay for it later, but yeah pretty boring normal late June weather for the time being. Should be dry for the next 5+ days as well

Should be dry for the next 5+ days as well I really don't think this summer is going to be as hot as some always believe it to be. If data shows us anything based on how late and how few 90s we've seen thus far plus the developing El Niño which favors less heat, then we shouldn't see anything extreme this July and August.
