Weathergun
And before LGA. I keep reading that only NYC hasn't hit 90. LGA has not either which makes NYC's temps more accurate this time around. NYC and LGA's temp tend to run lower with a NW flow. LGA site is also very close to east river.
IsentropicLift
84.5 here with a dew point of 67. It does feel better outside today primarily because of the breeze and slightly cooler temps.
TauntonBlizzard2013
you should know by now that being a snow monger means hating warm wx and being constantly vocal about it Folks troll snow lovers all through the winter, this is no different

IsentropicLift
Something about ACY that should be noted. That sensor is located at the airport correct? If so the airport is actually located in Pomona (Part of the FAA tech center) and is several miles inland compared to Atlantic City which obviously is right on the ocean. It's actually almost a 20 minute drive west of ACY proper.
jm1220
Looks like Long Beach reached 92 on the Weatherbug station.

NYC Weather Lover
I was just saying to myself that a northwest wind is very different than a southwest wind. This means areas that don't usually get as hot can be "hotter" than areas inland. I've noticed that this has been the trend over the years. But come on, NYC, we can do it! jm1220
The Atlantic City buoy which is on the water there is also 93. The ironic thing is that hot days on the beach like today often cause upwelling because of the offshore wind, making for a colder sea breeze in the future. Isotherm
90F here for 2nd day of the season. NYC might in fact put up another 89 today as I was concerned about. If LGA and NYC don't reach 90, it's going to be another week at least probably until the next chance.

SnoSki14
Most places will be up to 2-3 days of 90+ readings so far this year after today and it might be a while before they get a chance to add on. It looks like a really pleasant stretch of weather coming up and only mid 70s for the weekend.

SnoSki14
Unimpressive...really 2 days of temps 85-90--big deal and certainly not a heatwave Yup no heatwave and compared to past years these "hot" couple of days are pretty weak. I remember an early June heatwave that had a HI of like 110+ for a few days that schools let out early. Now that was some intense June heat.
