Stormlover74
What can I say? It's always a matter of opinion. My 68 degree air conditioned office feels great. I was outside playing tennis yesterday. Trust me it doesn't feel anywhere near as bad today. Not saying that'll be the case 5 or 6 hours from now but right now its nice out.
IsentropicLift
Previous runs were showing dews in the 70s during the day today. Deeper NW flow is keeping dews in the middle 60s. My current dew point is 66.

TWCCraig
Current dewpoints Those dews are definitely down from what they were earlier. Should continue to see them drop a little more with more mixing out.
Isotherm
Mid 60s dew points are substantially more comfortable than low-mid 70s. Yesterday I maxed out at a 74F dew point. 70F+ dews are tropical / sauna feeling and mid 60s is just moderately humid. I consider anything < 60F dew point in the JJA period to be comfortable and not humid.

IsentropicLift
I'd keep an eye on the Complex in Central PA. The short term high res models have this falling apart and getting replaced by a new one which forms near Erie around 00z. For the time being that complex appears to be holding its own. I keep reading that only NYC hasn't hit 90. LGA has not either which makes NYC's temps more accurate this time around.

jm1220
JFK is at 90 now. And LGA/NYC are still only in the upper 80s. It feels a little less hot outside today in Midtown than yesterday, but this may be due to lower humidity. I still think NYC should make it to 90, but the mid 90s I thought were possible yesterday on the WNW wind are unlikely.
