BlueSkiesFading
Seems a bit high based on current statewide temps Yea they're also reporting a dew point of 28, at least according to the app on my phone. I'd take that 91 with a grain of salt.

I'd take that 91 with a grain of salt. That dry, sandy soil of the barrens really doing its dirty work. That sensor has been running warm for quite some time. Most obs are in the mid 80s right now. bluewave
The downslope looks like it will underperform tomorrow as the airmass is passing over the Lakes which are still very cold. So we can still get more breaks of sun tomorrow and still max out in the low 90's.

Isotherm
88F with a light south wind at EWR as of the most recent update. Wonder if they can still touch 90 on a south wind over the next couple hours.
NEG NAO
the next 2 hours should tell us whether everyone at least inland reaches 90 today- we are not quite there yet as of 1 pm although the heat index has reached 90 in many locations http://kamala.cod.edu/nj/latest.asus41.OKX.KOKX.html

jm1220
Central Park hit 89 That's pretty much what I thought today would get to before the south winds and seabreeze line came past. Newark will probably make it to 90. Tomorrow should be hotter with westerly downsloping winds if clouds/debris aren't too much of a problem.
