Ginx snewx
Yeah the Euro Ensembles have a pretty good heavy QPF signal Thu/Fri. I do think the weekend turns out nice but the 4th could be bad. 12 day vacation starts the 4th, maybe some good surf to kick it off then COC for the camping trip. A good dose of rain seems likely and is needed.

HoarfrostHubb
I think Friday morning will suck but later that day into the evening could be salvageable Lot of water being modeled. Seems weird for early July
TalcottWx
I feel like storms seem to die out once the get passed the mtns...when I lived in CNJ, so many severe fronts lost its juice once it got over the Poconos and NW NJ.Yeah, those valley effects can enhance an updraft. It's so rare for the eastern areas to do well in a severe event. Without it.. poof.. we need strong lift and dyanamics and yadda yadda yadda.. then the added problem that we need winds s at the surface for any real supercells. S winds bring in the marine junk. Typhoon Tip
...Obviously at 180 hour the NAVGEM doesn't stand much chance of verifying 18 hours ... but, it's histrionic heat there

TalcottWx
Wow. Stiff SW wind @ the beach here. No seabreeze to be found. Although I do wonder if locally that keeps me a few degrees colder. Even SW winds put a little harbor water between me and the source of the breeze.
