I bet the Adirondacks get some pretty decent rainfall amounts... this has that type of look with some southwesterly upslope flow and the strong convergence along the boundary. Thick threatening clouds moved in from noon until about 3:00, then the sun made some off and on appearances through mostly cloudy skies.
