Mr. Windcredible!
Reading this thread and not knowing the wx occurring would make me think it's been cold. My memory of putting in acs is it typically was around mid to late June. In fact, we tell trainees from other parts of the country not to expect consistently nice wx before the solstice. So my sense is this has been normal, and sure enough after writing the sentence I double checked the climo page and BOS is 0.1. Couldn't get much more normal. This week may take it up a bit with a 90 distinctly possible Wednesday. We're so used to AN weather the last few years that we mentally adjust and when we finally have a normal month the perception is it's BN based on our short term memories. CoastalWx
Who said it was below normal? We went through a cool stretch,..that's all...it was stated numerous times.
tamarack
Who said it was below normal? We went through a cool stretch,..that's all...it was stated numerous times. Thru mid-month, CAR is nearly +4, while BGR, PWM, CON are all between +1 and +2. However, all 4 stations are BN for CDDs, which may be adding to the (incorrect) perception of coolness. dendrite
Who said it was below normal? We went through a cool stretch,..that's all...it was stated numerous times.yeah...no one has said it's been cold. Just that it's been nice not having the high heat and humidity yet. We've had some pretty crappy Junes over the past decade. This one has started pretty decent. It's not even the solstice yet though. The heat will come. It's like weenies wondering where the cold and snow is in mid December.

I was 48° again. Felt great! I'm with you though, as long as we have mornings like this throughout the summer, I can take a warmer day here and there. It looks like the next couple of days will be just that - warm and more humid and then a couple of cooler and drier days. I can live with that.
