TalcottWx
It might be time to chuck weenies. Lightning blossoming all along the south now. Impressive strengthening with that first storm don't see why we can't do that again with this atmosphere.
SnowMan
So the atmosphere is still juiced to support storms throughout the night?
HIPPYVALLEY
The cells in NW MA may look impressive on radar but very little thunder and lightning right now. My friends in the hills Colrain texted the same, pouring but not much of a show otherwise.
ct_yankee
In HVN it was mostly just flashes continually lighting up the whole sky, probably mostly intra-cloud and not many CGs. So not all that much to see in terms of actual streaks of lightning... But damn, was there a lot of it!

Mr. Windcredible!
Attempted a few pics but came out crappy. No clear bolts visible. Rain just began before I could attempt a vid. Sorry to disappoint. I think the best of the lightning may have just missed to the west with that portion of the cell between here and HVN. Lightning already waning a bit here. Still better than anything I've seen all summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice light show...and while a noisy storms with lots of CG are nice...this option at least helps keep the kids asleep. Mips
Power was out about 3 plus hours. It cut out shortly after my prior post from the storm that sprung up between the storm line and single cells. Power is still out in the rest of North Andover, 3 miles west of here due to trees down. Several roads are closed.
