tamarack
Fun is over, skies brightening. During the warning, my wife was on the cellphone with our daughter in DEC, where they hear the sirens at least once a year. Today was our turn, though no sirens (and no real storminess right in the BY.)

Damage In Tolland
Well that is used as potential...not to forecast actual severe though. I know.. but it worked well today. Obviously we aren't going to see severe tonight..I think it shows nicely though another round of storms coming for areas that got screwed round
CoastalWx
Sounds like we've had one helluva a downburst from PSM into the York/Wells areas. That thing looked real nasty and looked like some mid level rotation too. Almost a pseudo commahead.

It's a good tool so long as you have storms. It's a SREF product too.

powderfreak
12-24 tors lol, I was wondering if there were even 12-24 storms, much less TORs. Casual glances at radar today didn't seem to show anything too exotic for all the discussion. However, that recent stuff in Maine looked like the storm of the day, great obs you posted from PSM. Connecticut Appleman
I'll be disappointed if we don't at least get some serious rain out of this. Only 0.07" so far for today and a total of 0.54" since Sunday.
