Mips
Am in the slot between storms and storm lines. Massive line to the west, heading NE. A little blow up cell to the SE, heading NE. Constant rumbles, gusty winds, just got a short dose of sheet rain, now sustained bursts of frog strangling rain, pulsing w gusty sheets. And power is blinking. Wicked winds now. with white rain downpours and finally the first clear flash of lightning hitting within 2 miles. Instensity from 1 to 10 in seconds. Boxford/Middleton/ North Andover, MA corner. Tornadomachine
50-55kts shear, stronger UL flow, 1500 J/kg SBCAPE and >1000 J/kg MLCAPE.Thanks, I can agree that isn't bad. Could CIN be an issue there? Doesn't seem to be very active right now, though there does appear to be new activity in PA...
HIPPYVALLEY
Certainly thought western areas would have done better...lol. MPM's worries vindicated? lol I would have guessed that days of flood watches would have produced a little better than our current .10" here. The sun barely came out anywhere around here today and nowhere locally that I saw touched 80F. I drove from Greenfield to Charlemont w/o seeing any sun. TalcottWx
Look to the waters south of new england tonight. Storms and downpours will be moving in off the ocean and hitting areas that missed out earlier today.

I wouldn't bet on that being storm related, if a car is on the tracks, it'll get hit no matter what. Not hard to tell you are on em, for starters. Hope everyone involved is OK though. Doesn't seem to be very active right now, though there does appear to be new activity in PA...Storms having trouble firing/developing. HRRR has also backed off on this activity doing much of anything. There was a weak meso up by Cooperstown, but not much else besides that.
