Suprised you did not see some out by east grand and Three river's, One of the best spots is on the Surgarloaf Access road behind the Surgarloaf Brewery, They even have seats their over looking the bog as well as signs with flashing lights on the roadway warning you of a moose crossing

Professional Lurker
I take it back, seen plenty in downtown Portland bars. LOL Seriously been up to East Grand Lake a few miles south of the Canadian border. Sunday River, Three Rivers whitewater. Nothing. Bears on the other hand. They're like racoons. My parents just sold their house on east grand. ...On the nb side. I can attest that there are plenty of moose in that area. I especially love fishing up monument steam. Crazy going under that bridge in Orient/fosterville, then boating through the thoroughfare. Then on to monument. ... It's a neat feeling to be on a boat in a stream that is an international border. ... No more than 50 yards across.Really bummed that they sold it. Such a beautiful place. Anyway, hopefully we bang again today and the storms don't pull the bs that they did last night.

Mr. Windcredible!
Any chance this year of getting some instability into the coastal plain? This is what, the 4th SVR watch in the past week that has ended at the New Haven/Middlesex county line just a couple miles to my west? Getting pretty frustrating watching these decent lines hit HVN and just fizzle out. Did get to enjoy some distant lightning and a rumble of thunder last Thursday...that was pretty intense. moneypitmike
I only heard a couple rumbles from the southern VT cell. Must be primarily a rain situation.

Do you think that line can hold it together? I'm expecting an utterly forgettable passing.
weatherwiz
Paul--what's your take? Do you think that line can hold it together? I'm expecting an utterly forgettable passing. When I got home from work I looked at mesoanalysis and really wasn't completely impressed...at least for widespread activity. there are some pretty nasty cells out there though and again we can thank some pretty strong shear aloft. Instability isn't overly impressive but it's just enough (thanks to high temps and low-level moisture). Anyways for that activity right over the ENX radar site I believe it does remain strong to severe into Berkshire, Franklin, and Hampshire Counties...it might not be as strong but I don't think it will go through a ton of weakening.
