daddylonglegs
54F this morning with north winds...awesome sleeping weather coming up in this stretch. Cold fronts in June just don't have the kick they do earlier in the season. Blue skies, but some wind today...mid 70Fs.
hawkeye_wx
Today is the coolest day in quite a while here, stuck in the mid 60s. A thick deck of clouds has held us way back of the expected high temp.
Geos
Quite cool here too, but mostly sunny. Looks like it won't get out of the mid 60s today.
cyclone77
The gnats have been terrible the last 3 weeks or so, but today they're just down right nasty. We need some intense heat to kill these little bastards, and unfortunately I don't see anything like that anytime soon. The lack of storms and the invasion of gnats is making for a terrible start to summer around here.

The lack of storms and the invasion of gnats is making for a terrible start to summer around here. The gnats have been really bad around here too. However, the last few days they don't seem as bad. The biting flies, on the other hand, are awful right now...

Geos
Low 60s here in Racine. But I must say it is very comfortable. Hoping the rain chances diminish mid-week.
daddylonglegs
77F...but dews are in the low 40Fs so very comfortable...mix of mostly sun, with a few clouds thrown in. A lot warmer then i expected today. Getting spoiled by all this nice weather. We'll be screaming when the swamp $$$ comes back in a few weeks with dews in the 70Fs. My Observations
Thanks IWXwx Yep that is all I could find also . Just curious what "Accident" really meant . So I take it that this also means that all Hazard Radio Alerts , Warnings are not working also ? I was able to tune in and pick up the Muncie station . hawkeye_wx
We are at the time of year when below to even well below normal days are very pleasant. I'll gladly trade the 95-105 degree days of the last two years for 65-75 degrees. Early next week is looking potentially fun again.
Geos
Only like 55° and cloudy here in Racine. Can see the outline of the sun at times through the mid level clouds.

wisconsinwx
Only like 55° and cloudy here in Racine. Can see the outline of the sun at times through the mid level clouds. Still mid 50s near the lake as we approach the noon hour. Per usual, the cool days with a wind off the lake underperform vs the forecast, and the warm days with a S/SW wind overperform. Too much reliance on climo from NWS.

Yeah today is really cool for June standards. About 56° here near the lake in Racine. Few showers trying to come north, but they're having a hard time. IWXwx
Indy's NOAA radio is back up, according to their Facebook page: "Power was restored quickly to the #IND NOAA Wx Radio. KEC-74 is now on the air. The broadcast may be intermittent at times this PM." That was a a quick week!
cyclone77
Felt like living on Lake Michigan around here today lol. Overcast all day with some spits of light rain/mist. 0.12 total. Only made it to 68.

My Observations
IWXwx I agree , there 2 weeks turned to one day . I had e-mailed them yesterday to see what kind of info I could get . Then lead me to believe that they had issues with phone lines being down . Glad to see the quick repair .
