The gnats have been terrible the last 3 weeks or so, but today they're just down right nasty.  We need some intense heat to kill these little bastards, and unfortunately I don't see anything like that anytime soon.  The lack of storms and the invasion of gnats is making for a terrible start to summer around here.

The gnats have been really bad around here too. However, the last few days they don't seem as bad. The biting flies, on the other hand, are awful right now...

Hi all ,

Just thought I would jump in and share some of my data with you from Westfield , IN . These are all measurements that I take myself .

Hope to get involved in the group a little more...

even though the weather has been quite boring lately  :(

This coming week looks to have a little going on . We'll see how it pans out .

Reached a High of 80º today . Looking for Rain to hit the state Tuesday morning , doesn't look like anything severe.

Just read that NOAA Weather Radio Station KEC-74 broadcasting from Indianapolis will be down for up to 2 weeks , due to an accident . Been trying to find out more details , but no luck so far

This is all they've released so far. Sounds like a catastrophic fail.

We are at the time of year when below to even well below normal days are very pleasant.  I'll gladly trade the 95-105 degree days of the last two years for 65-75 degrees.

Early next week is looking potentially fun again.

You guys had it much worse out there, last summer here was like +0.2F

Only like 55° and cloudy here in Racine. Can see the outline of the sun at times through the mid level clouds.

Still mid 50s near the lake as we approach the noon hour.  Per usual, the cool days with a wind off the lake underperform vs the forecast, and the warm days with a S/SW wind overperform.  Too much reliance on climo from NWS.

Yeah today is really cool for June standards. About 56° here near the lake in Racine. Few showers trying to come north, but they're having a hard time.

I'm loving it. I can get outdoor work done in this kind of weather, but when it gets much over 90. I'm pretty much stuck inside with the AC running.
