wisconsinwx
nuisance showers going up ahead of the front It's a shortwave, but I don't believe it is a front, after the showers/storms along the shortwave move through, it will still be warm and humid this afternoon, though mid 80s might be a stretch. Geos
Had a decent thunderstorm here in Racine. Wasn't really much wind though like the warning had stated. Very muggy now with dewpoints approaching 70° and the sun coming out.
Chicago WX
It actually rained here today. A whopping 0.25" at LAF (most in a day since May 16), but beggars can't be choosers. More of this please.
bowtie`
Same here. My tippy bucket says .42 so far and more on the radar just to the west. Keep it coming.
Geos
Only about 0.21" of rain today at UGN with that line. 0.65" though at RAC.
bowtie`
.96 so far and still more returns just to the west. Should be over an inch in just a little bit.
Stebo
First shower here dropped .18" within the hour. Some decent storms to my west that should come through soon.
Powerball
First shower here dropped .18" within the hour. Some decent storms to my west that should come through soon. Hopefully they hold together. SPC mesoanalysis suggests instability is decreasing a bit with all of the cloud cover. Getting a decent wind-driven downpour here now as well (no thunder or lightning). Chicago WX
Ended up with a total of 1.61 in the tippy bucket. Very nice. IND had 1.03". Just a measly 0.31" at LAF. Lean times here right now.
bowtie`
Very nice. IND had 1.03". Just a measly 0.31" at LAF. Lean times here right now. Hopefully on Wednesday you can make up some *ground*. Not often that my tippy bucket matches with the radar estimates but it did this time. Would have been nice to get that amount over 24 hours and not three hours. But that is probably asking too much. It was starting to get dry here so this was a welcome amount.
weatherbo
57 and winds gusting to over 20 mph is making it feel a little Autumnal out today. Had just under an inch of rain yesterday. Allergens and dust is down, and everything is so green.

Allergens and dust is down, and everything is so green. In time, you will be seeing consistent 70s, but it's always nice to assure good moisture this time of year so threat of drought and allergies are lessened (but not so much moisture that the skeeters are rampant). wisconsinwx
After two sticky nights, it looks like we might be able to air out the house tonight. Temp is down to 59F at MKE, down quickly from mid 70s a few hours ago. It was a beautiful day.
michsnowfreak
I have found it amusing at how many people I have heard complain about how "hot" it is in recent weeks LOL, with some 70s and 80s (talking the public, not here lol). We have been above normal temps the last few weeks, but I will say, it hasnt been that bad. Much cooler tomorrow, may actually take a hoodie to the Tigers game tomorrow night. hawkeye_wx
Models really blew it for my area. The storms dove south into Missouri and even took most of the general rain with them. All I got was 0.28".

Geos
Wasn't exactly expecting that stratiform rain to push so far north this morning. Upper 50s and cool here in Racine.
bowtie`
1.23 in the tippy bucket this time. Looks like I doubled LAF, again, if the radar estimates are right again. There was a little standing water in the fields as I drove home from work.
