2" per hour rates now showing up south of Brooklyn.

Believe you me, Kew gardens we got WHACKED by 2in+ an hour , neighbors & I stood watching in awe, streets flooded with 3-4 inches of liquid on flast surfaces, in an area that doesnt flood. Near JFK NWS estimated 2.,4 inches an hour from 945p to 955p

HOUR OVER THE WARNED AREA. HIGH TIDE IS ALSO OCCURRING AT LOCATIONS

BORDERING THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. THIS WILL EXACERBATE FLASH FLOODING

CONDITIONS AS WATER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEDE IN SOME CATCH BASINS

AS QUICKLY.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL

CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES

AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE

DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE

Bust cancel? Some are so quick to pull the trigger on calling for a bust. Its just like during a snow event. If people don't have a foot of snow on the ground in the first hour, they call bust
