IsentropicLift
I live se of those areas…..meh The whole area got hit pretty hard. Maybe it wasn't excessive totals but it wasn't really a bust considering NWS was only forecasting around 1.5" of rain region wide. Most areas will end up getting that much or close to it by the time all is said and done.
IsentropicLift
1/2"+ per hour rates in NY Harbor NW of Sandy Hook should nail Eastern Bergan and Rockland Counties pretty hard. Going to come right up the Hudson.

nyblizz44
2" per hour rates now showing up south of Brooklyn. Believe you me, Kew gardens we got WHACKED by 2in+ an hour , neighbors & I stood watching in awe, streets flooded with 3-4 inches of liquid on flast surfaces, in an area that doesnt flood. Near JFK NWS estimated 2.,4 inches an hour from 945p to 955p
