not sure if the average is that high but we've been hitting 80+ a bunch lately...if i had to guess we won't this summer given the cold winter/spring. Temps at the beaches are also usually at least a few degrees warmer than the buoys. Either way, 70s is totally comfortable to swim in. 

 

After the mid section immersion is completed, sure.

I enjoy getting in the lake as well a handful a times during the summer. 

 

Just got missed by a t-storm here in Racine, but the out flow/pneumonia front just hit. 50s just 10 or so miles up the shore.

Looks to be a pretty solid t'storm on my side of town currently (not at home).

I drove through the one before it on the east side, it was like a whiteout of rain. No thunder though which isn't too surprising considering the mid level lapse rates are under 5.5c/km.

To be fair though, with these type of rainfall rates, the thunder would be hard to hear.

 

I'm hearing thunder in this current cell now that the rain is letting up.
