IN ADDITION...ONLY ONCE BEFORE IN RECORDED WEATHER HISTORY FOR
ROCKFORD HAS THERE BEEN A TRACE OF SNOW IN THE SNOW SEASON ON OR
AFTER MAY 16TH AND THAT WAS ON MAY 24TH 1925.

Only dropped to 38F...think we had a few too many clouds around or something...forecast was for 33F.  Should be a gorgeous (although cool) weekend...showing 63F today and 70F tomorrow with sunshine... yippee! 

 

Extended looks way better...should actually see more normal temps from here on out.

Dropped to 35º here this morning. 38º at IND, which is the second coldest min temp on record for May 18.

 

-1.5º for May at LAF through yesterday. It's been a gentle roller coaster with daily departures this month.

Chance of showers tonight and tomorrow across Nrn OH. Also, there is a slight risk of severe storms this Wednesday for the OH and mid MS valleys. Not sure if its worth making another thread yet, so I'll just post that here too.

 

Otherwise, it looks like its gonna be beautiful all the way into Memorial Day weekend.
