Some roads up here in the Marlboro/Manalapan area in Monmouth County are being overrun by ponds, lakes and streams. Lots of police detours. Of course tons of ponding of water on the roads elsewhere here. Just a deluge of rain here. Stay off the roads folks!

Can't say I want the flooding, but NEPA has a weather dome over it and can't get anything more than run-of-the-mill weather the last few years. Only .81" as of 9pm...though getting into some heavy rain now, might push 'em up over 1".

spoke with my brother, reporting life and death situations near the perkiomin creek and skippack creek  on rt 73 in motco.

He was water rescuing people near the skippack creek.

Nearly 6" total for 2 days here. The Delaware River looks angry. Local flooding close to river as the bank are overflowing with peak crest sometime this afternoon. Local creeks overflowing an covering many roads. If the river was close to its springtime flow it would have been much worse.

This is the highest crest on record for the month of May, previous high was 11.53' on 5/30/89
