Stormlover74
I think it foretells a warm september maybe +6 or greater. On a seriousn note - appears clouds will limit most 90 degree readings today. Yeah nowhere is over 85 yet except south Jersey, still a good deal of sun but 90 seems unlikely now
WintersGrasp
This time of year, a week of 80 to 90 degree days could put us above average or a few days way below that puts us below average....I agree we have to wait longer to see which direction it heads in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Juliancolton
83F and mostly clear... lots of puffy Cu action going on along the western horizon, but downsloping off the Catskills seems to be keeping me cloud-free for the moment. Also, not sure if it's been mentioned already, but the SPC has posted a day 1 slight risk for most of the area.

IsentropicLift
Area has been upgraded to a slight risk Current SPC mesoanalysis indicates 500+ J/KG of SBCAPE west of the city with decent lapse rates and shear profiles. HRRR continues to show multiple lines/clusters of storms moving through the area later today. The 12z GFS really hammers areas west and southwest of NYC early this evening which matches up well with the 4k 12z NAM.
