bluewave
Recent years have been notorious for producing record rainfall events with cutoff lows getting stuck under strong blocking patterns. We had the historic Nashville flood event this week back in 2010 to go along with the historic rainfall totals around Pensacola. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ohx/?n=may2010epicfloodevent http://www.srh.noaa.gov/mob/?n=flashflood_04292014
