me & Down East just went down to Washington. quite a bit of damage with some houses destroyed but they had those roads blocked off. we were able to get into some areas and get video and pictures

Bros in law sent video of the house he was hiding in with his neighbor and dog. Dropped the ceiling, blew out the glass and tossed everything around inside. Clearly was close to blowing out the walls too.

I still want to see a tornado live, but never in that situation. He said he was able to watch it come down the river before his friend dragged him inside. One of those "cant be happening to me" moments.

This is the updraft that spawned the Washington tornado I took this from my front yard, the storm would have been in the Black Jack/Chicod area at the time and the tornado that touched down with it looked EF1 tops then it cycled and it was at least EF2 or better IMO when it went into Washington...not sure why it posted them sideways....

First video is just east of the highway 33 and 17 intersection in Chocowinity, the 2nd video is on river road in washington......luckily it missed the trailer homes, and 3rd video is when I was chasing the wall cloud and had a breif touchdown on VOA site C road in western pitt county on the first supercell of the day.

Heres a pic of the incoming updraft and subsequently led to my video of the wall cloud and funnel. I took this off my girlfiends front porch as it was approaching. It was so huge I couldn't get it all. The 2nd pic is of the wall cloud as it moved over a road where a touchdown was reported.

Still waiting for them to verify the northern Pitt Co tornado there is pretty clear evidence from video and pics that the wall cloud produced at least 2-3 brief tornados as it crossed the county.

I have not heard anything on the tornados that hit around Halifax and have not seen confirmation of the ones in Wayne or Greene Co but again both have video of TOG so I imagine it is forthcoming.

MHX has already confirmed the Chicod and Beaufort Co tornados, still nothing on the Greene Co and northern Pitt Co cell they do however have a picture of the Greene Co tornado on the ground in this write up

http://www.weather.gov/mhx/April25Tornado

The Wakefield survey teams confirmed 3 tornados in the Elizabeth City area

http://www.weather.gov/akq/042514tornadoes

This is actually turning into a pretty large event for this area, 5 confirmed and at least 1 in Wayne, 1 in Greene,  at least 1 in Halifax and 2 in Pitt still not confirmed would put the total number of tornados around 10.
