A-L-E-K
overnight convection is going to be very efficient rainfall producers
Geos
Nice breezy rain this morning. Did not really get any rain to speak of overnight though. T-storms to the south seem to be shunting a lot of moisture off to the east.
daddylonglegs
Less then half inch here so far (storm total)... Was looking and for the month..we are nearing 6 inches.
A-L-E-K
underperformed...despite raging 850 moisture transport, linear convection over OH valley and dry low level east flow really cut down on rains overnight.
daddylonglegs
I see MSP is over an inch, but yeah..i was expecting more rain...the low is in the middle of Nebraska still ...ugh...this is going to take awhile!
dmc76
1st round major bust. A little sun still peaking through with a very strong and annoying East Wind blowing trash all around with temps around 50. Precip falling apart as it heads north. No wonder why it's such terrible start to the growing season. I don't think more then 2" of precip as fallen since early March.
Geos
I see MSP is over an inch, but yeah..i was expecting more rain...the low is in the middle of Nebraska still ...ugh...this is going to take awhile! Awesome looking low south of Nova Scotia! Only 0.23" at the airport here. 0.27" in Racine. Looks like a long lull about to start.
daddylonglegs
Its been POURING here the last half hour/hour... So we should get to the inch mark very easily...if not the 2 inch mark... i see the rain edge is a few counties south of here..so we have a little while before we get out of it. This forecast is only good for fish and ducks:

hawkeye_wx
Rainwise, this big system has been a big underperformer here. It had been looking like widespread 2-4 inches, but I have only received 1.10". There was hail and severe wind just west, south, and east of me on Sunday, but I just got some decent wind and brief heavy rain.
