SouthernNJ
Looks like some strong winds hit a few parts today, most recently, saw the terminal radar indicate 60+ mph winds in the Clementon-Berlin area of Camden county and also from Mansfield-New Egypt-Jackson corridor. Capt. Adam
One heck of a cell moving through central Burlington County right now. From Northern Atlantic County it is quite the show, incessant lightning, but too far away (about 20 miles) to hear much thunder other than an occasional rumble. Hope someone gets some pics. Rib
Am I the only one getting intense lightning? I was taking pictures and videos of it. I did get some forked lightning on video. I missed the best ones including a bolt in front of the orange sky as the sun was setting. The best two were forks right above me that had a weird sound for thunder. There was the crash, but then after that continuing crashes like a bunch of those loud, white, fireworks going off at once. and it happened again a few minutes later. It was so intense, I felt the sound in my stomach. Since I didn't get those on video I can't show the video and you can't hear the sounds I'm talking about. BucksCO_PA
continuing to thunder here, fantastic light show as the storms moved east & it got dark Lightning really intensified over Lower Bucks, looks like at least an inch in the I-95 / RT 1 corridor from Langhorne all the way to NYC. BBasile
The severe warned storm in Gloucester County tonight stayed mostly to my W/NW, so I picked up only 0.15" of precip, but without the rain, I was able to get a good view of the show. It occurred at sunset too, so I was able to get a few shots with the sun setting which was pretty cool.

Now I'm watching and listening to the one pass just to my south with constant lightning.

Rib
There has been continuous lightning here since 8 which makes it almost 4 hours of lightning. It's clear above as I see stars but you can see an obvious anvil with constant spider lightning in and on the outside of the storm. This has been the best electrical storm ever. zenmsav6810
Reading got hit bad (bad flooding in areas with fail infrastructure ei church street). I saw one report of hail (far western corner of berks county) on wfmz's website although I don't know how credible this is. I was not able to observe the storm I saw that report of hail (gun shy from May 22nd) minutes before the heavy rain started, jumped on 422, and went home. I saw many interesting cloud formations but opted not to pull over and take pictures. The sky was unusually dark in color.
LVblizzard
Screwed over in Allentown...just some showers with a few rumbles of thunder. Everything fell apart before it got here. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
BBasile
Awesome shot. Admiring those little spokes to right of the main bolt Thanks! Didn't even see them until I viewed the picture on my computer monitor. Went back out and grabbed a shot of lighting striking from the top of a storm, 35/40k feet?, and hitting the ground. Gonna have to head out again because these storms in Delaware are lighting up the sky like a grand finale.

Sophisticated Skeptic
yea, i'm kinda surprised things haven't started poppin yet with so much instability. But the atmosphere is loaded. Things should light up quickly in the next few hours. The more sun , the better chance of another Severe Thunderstorm Watch. EDIT : Latest HRRR shows most of the action confined to central / eastern PA till 7pm'ish...(with the exception of a few popcorn storms in northern NJ. then a strong line affecting all of jersey from 8pm to 11pm'ish. BucksCO_PA
Worst storm I've experienced locally in many years, most likely severe criteria winds with numerous limbs down in lower makefeld, many intersections without power.
