LVblizzard
Just a typical garden variety storm in Allentown. Heavy rain, gusty wind, some lightning.
Treckasec
Probably got gusts up to 55 or so at the beginning, and the gusts have gradually getting to 30-40 mph. A few branches and leaves on the ground. Some flashes every once in a while. And the always included heavy rain. Probably 20 minutes of gusts between 55-30.

Treckasec
55 mph would have knocked down trees in your area. Well, I'm just taking observations from my own backyard. We've had 60 mph winds here without a tree being knocked down, or at least from what I was looking at.
zenmsav6810
I was driving from Wyomissing (Penn State Berks) towards Boyertown and kind of traveled with the gusts as they came, I suspect the winds west of the Reading divide by the coal power plant on the Schuylkill seen from 422 was the cut off line for strong winds in Berks County. It seemed like central-east Berks had the lowest winds (in fact I shall nothing over 45 mph near Boyertown), Most of the stronger stuff passed north and south. Down near Pottstown, I saw little evidence of strong winds, the strong southern Chester cell missed that area it seems.
KamuSnow
Wound up with about 0.50" of rain from yesterday's storm. There's potential to pick up more this morning, although the radar is thinning out a bit as it comes southeast.

Yeah, it seemed to be more intense to the south. Sounded like some large diameter lightning bolts also .

KamuSnow
Had a 15 minute shower here, less than a tenth of an inch of rain, no lightning/thunder. Still a little left over rain going on. Temp went from 86F to 72F currently.

hazwoper
may get another shot in a few hours with line forming in western PA Wonder if they will hold together (probably not by the time they get here)? Currently severe with some hail based on radar
stemwinder
We got a good shot here in W Windsor just S of Princeton. Good gusts, and well over 1" in my unofficial saucer. My top floor balcony may exaggerate the rainfall, since it faces west, and gets a good hit with gusty downpours. A more official rain gauge is "pending", as they say. ChescoWx
0.98" with the earlier t-storm here in NW Chester County. This very wet year continues here in NW Chesco Total Rain so far this year now stands at 29.43" which is 10.20" above normal for the year through June 3rd....looking at radar may see a bit more rolling through later this evening
KamuSnow
Saw a lot of lightning off to the west and northwest earlier, but it seemed to lessen, and looking at the radar I can see why. Getting breezy and smells like rain, but looks more like remnants of the earlier line at this point.
RedSky
Sounds refreshing! It certainly was. More lightning would have been better

AvantHiatus
Anyone under the downpour in DE? Looks good from a distance, so far the pop-up activity is not very intense.
KamuSnow
Anyone under the downpour in DE? I'm thinking you're referring to the one the flood warning was issued for? There looks like some nice activity developing now in northern DE. Hearing a lot of rumbling outside, just north of the border in PA.
