SouthernNJ
Been very quiet here for storms pretty much ever since Sandy went through. Might be time to start the Convection Thread for this season, just to have a place for thunderstorm posts.
DarthDoppler
I'd assume the worst of the winds are in Lancaster heading into Chester, right? (bow echo)

SouthernNJ
The line has produced wind damage in Lititz of Lancaster county. The strongest winds are between Birdsboro and Glenmoore, heading toward Pottstown.
SouthernNJ
Amazing, up to Quarter Size Hail was reported between Reading and Birdsboro. Did not think that would be the case. The Terminal Doppler did indicate some rotation up above in that area, so I guess it was possible. A gust to 54 MPH was measured between Elverson and Glenmoore. SouthernNJ
Phoenixville, Royersford, Malvern, into Norristown could see near-severe gusts, and perhaps some small hail.
SouthernNJ
Another storm popped up, and will traverse southern Delco, heading towards Chester. Might have to go out and look at this one.

SouthernNJ
The strongest core of the line went right over Philadelphia, and as is always the case, the southern part weakened as it passed overhead, but re-strengthened immediately around Mullica Hill. At least the shelf cloud looked neat.

iceman56
Sky looked wicked as storm approached with the hail 'look', but no actual hail, ..13" of rain, wind gusted to 22mph in the valley, estimated 40-45 on hilltops. I'm about 6 miles from those .5" hail reports in Elverson. Lightning sent me scurrying...
JCT777
Snore... 8 mph "gust" and a "torrential" .02" Heh, sounds about the same as in Spring Mount. The storms went south of here, so we got some rumbles of thunder and dark clouds in the southern sky...followed by a little light rain.
mattinpa
Can confirm some small hail in Collegeville yesterday.. Was driving through the Wegman's center.
BBasile
Looked better at a distance. A few flashes of lightning to the north of here. Other than that, had a 26 mph wind gust and no measurable rainfall.

LVblizzard
Meh. Usually by now we've had at least a couple storms here in Allentown. But so far, nothing. Hopefully this stretch of warm weather coming up will bring some decent chances.
Absolute Humidity
Meh. Usually by now we've had at least a couple storms here in Allentown. But so far, nothing. Hopefully this stretch of warm weather coming up will bring some decent chances. Agreed for your area. Typically in April early May, T Storms die out before reaching here due to the cold Atlantic this time of year.
