phil882 Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 There was a pretty distinct outflow boundary that was propagating eastward away from the elevated convection further east... this likely provided locally enhanced shear and confluence that is now enhancing the tornado potential along the KS/MO border. I'm not sure the threat will continue further east though because the strip of higher CAPE is pretty thin and primarily meridionally oriented.
