Incredible effective shear magnitude in place over LA, MS and AL.

In addition, an axis of very high 0-3km CAPE along that corridor, which will likely continue to increase/expand across AL as the airmass recovers this afternoon.

Just give it some more surface heating and it's pretty much all there.

Yup, a very impressive sounding. If we can get those wind fields to advect northward into MS to improve on the sounding JAN made then I think E/SE MS is in for it. I'm sitting in Brandon, MS off I-20 just watching.

Hi 1900, where do you go to look at these soundings? Can I have the link to them? Thanks!

There's a tab on the SPC page called "Forecast Tools," and under it will be a link labeled "Observed Sounding Analysis." This should get you to some of the more recently recorded soundings. I'll also put the hyperlink below:

Yeah around Fayetteville is looking like there could be several cells starting to rotate........ we do have a thread in the SE forum

Let's keep all outbreak related things in here. If you want to go talk about "x" storm in IMBY then that's fine in SE subforum but lets keep the tornado related things in here along with the rest of the outbreak.

The Wilson county NC TOR warned storm is exploding.  Tops went from 36k to 45k in one scan and the hail estimate is 3.5".  Circulation still seems fairly broad but it's a monster and could start producing at any time.

Also could get really close to Wilson proper thats 50k+ people.......I cant believe I am stuck at work I could be there in 15 mins from here.
