Allenson
Great pics allenson, I esp love the old quebec one. Thanks, man--yours are real nice too. Love the sunset/tree shot. As for Quebec City, if you ever get a chance, you should check it out. It's a very cool city and very 'old world' considering that it's here in North America. I'd never been there before but back in November, the wife and I decided to head up for a weekend. Who knew?! And only five hours from here. baroclinic_instability
Alta!!!! One of my favorites So many powder days Alta was awesome! They are pretty high, base 8500 and top 10,500 so they almost always have great powder. I am not a ski snob, but being that I don't snowbaord, the ski only rules were nice too. Agreed though, great ski resort!

The best scenery I've ever seen. And Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, BC: And Banff Avenue in Banff, Alberta: I always wanted to go to the Canadian Rockies/Glacier! Looks sick. I would love to go to Banff, but I heard it can get really crowded (for good reason). Heard Watertown is good place to go to get away from the crowds. Mercurial
I always wanted to go to the Canadian Rockies/Glacier! Looks sick. I would love to go to Banff, but I heard it can get really crowded (for good reason). Heard Watertown is good place to go to get away from the crowds. Banff is crawling with people in the summer. Of course, so is Glacier but to a somewhat lesser degree. Canmore - just a couple minutes from Banff - is a good alternative if you want to avoid crowds. There are a few places around Lake Louise back in the trees that would obviously be tucked away from the crowds. But anyway you cut it the 'must see' spots in the Canadian Rockies (Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake, etc) are all totally clogged with tourists. Of course, this is why I prefer to visit in the off season BTW here's what downtown Banff looks like in July:
