Man I LOVE that pic so much!!!!!! That pic is PRICELESS! I WORSHIP cold weather! I hope every last flower freezes HARD! I want cold, Cold, COLD!!!!! My nose better be cold. My feet better be cold. My hands better be cold. I hate spring, I LOVE WINTER! I want heavy rain, a battleship gray sky, a strong northerly wind and frigid temps. I want to see ppl running frantically and in haste between the shopping center and their cars because they think this is so cold! I want that wind to blow every last cherry blossom off those damn trees, and the rain to wash them all away.

 

I LOVE WINTER! I love numbing cold cAk airmasses, especially way out of season. I want to see ppl coughing in cold weather. I want gardens to freeze solid. I utterly worship winter and all things cold.

A bit too cloudy for a hard freeze, timing will be crucial and also wind speeds. Upper 30's in Central PA. Mountains might prevent the vast majority of cold air from reaching the coast.

The mixing/CAA will probably reduce the gradient between DCA and IAD. But then there's the river and concrete than have been absorbing 80 degree temps and sunshine lately, plus the clouds. Tough call..

Water temperature in the Potomac is 62 degrees right now. That can't help DCA's readings.

Pauly, thanks for the comment, but my comment was not meant as mockery, I truly do love that pic! I love winter and that pic is so WINTER! Thanks!

I never caught a cold all winter. I kicked back and watched many of my friends cough their lungs out though as they paid the coughequences in full. I worshiped winter as I enjoyed all of the plentiful snow in the Mid Atlantic.

 

We are STILL a snow town.
