KamuSnow
wet snow - 36F Wet snow here too, big flakes, no accumulation on anything at this point, but impressive. 35F. A couple of deer sitting out on the front lawn taking it in, lol. Pretty amazing, 6 months in a row now that some snow has fallen.

RU848789
We got a good 3/8" of snow/sleet mixture in Metuchen in the past hour or so, with temps at 34F around midnight, dropping to 31F by about 12:45 am, allowing the snow to actually accumulate a bit on cars, grass and even some roads - I just drove home from work in Rahway and there were slick spots. Very impressed for 4/15.

Voyager
Wow...the snow regions got it again...lol. Up here, we got some snow, but it only stuck to cars, and even that was light (less than 1/4 inch). Nothing really in the grass at my house. I guess I'll find out if my work location in Carbon County saw a little bit more.

KamuSnow
Made it down to 29F here an hour ago. 1.90" of rain, just (technically) a trace of snow last night due to melting on contact. Brisk out there, feels like March, invigorating. KamuSnow
A couple of tenths this morning at the office in Dayton, NJ Still a coating at almost 1:00pm on the shaded areas, impressive cold with full sun this time of year Yes, I had the same thought, 1:30 pm and it's "only" 43F here. Was hoping for closer to 50 so that tonight wouldn't be quite as brutal as it appears to have the potential to be. Thinking about the vegetation and all. iceman56
43.4F/DP18 NNW@11mph Clear skies and HP overhead looks like it could get real cold tonite! Temps will keep rising until about 5:00, but that DP should easily support mid 20s which will cause siginificant freeze damage since that is several degrees colder than this morning. The only thing that may lessen the impact would be any wind we can hang on to.
famartin
Temps will keep rising until about 5:00, but that DP should easily support mid 20s which will cause siginificant freeze damage since that is several degrees colder than this morning. The only thing that may lessen the impact would be any wind we can hang on to. The wind likely resulted in greater damage this morning given many areas were marginally cold, which normally would've meant the plant tissues could stay a little warmer; however, the wind likely allowed tissues to cool to sub-freezing levels faster than they might have done without the wind. Tonight the issue will be whether light winds will allow for ideal radiational cooling in the rural and suburban areas; urban areas should be safer.
