I wanted to compare how the the annual number of 90 degrees days has varied around the area since 1984. 10 year groupings of years were used over the 30 year period from 1984 to 2013. My guess is that the decline in 90 degree days from the first 10 year interval in NYC to the most recent was a result of increased vegetation growth around the  sensor.
