Chicago WX
A warm second half of April will push the average temperature departure into positive numbers for IND. And thus, statistically, this will be the first above normal/positive departure month for Indianapolis since September 2013. Of course we'd usually call Oct '13 and Apr '14 near normal, but we're using technicalities here. Chicago WX
This year's first 70º temperature of the year was the 10th latest on record for Indianapolis (records since 1872).
